PRO-SEED
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) has developed a new initiative that provides support to Hispanic MBAs and business professionals who might be affected by the current economic climate due to job loss or economic downsizing.
For those applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and are able to qualify for the program, PRO-SEED offers Hispanic business professionals, who might not otherwise be able to, the opportunity to attend NSHMBA’s successful and highly-attended Annual Conference & Career Expo.
The new program is being rolled out in preparation for the organization’s 2009 Annual Conference & Career Expo: “Think Ahead, Move Forward” in Minneapolis, MN Oct. 8-10 this year.
The selected recipients will receive:
■Complimentary registration to Career Expo Only
■Access to events focused on Career Advancement
■Discounted airfare and hotel rates
■Complimentary 12-month NSHMBA professional membership
■The opportunity to pre-schedule interviews with some of the sponsors during the 2009 Conference Career Expo
In preparation to the Conference, recipients will participate in webinars to:
■Review new job search strategies
■Learn career hunting and networking tactics
■Create resumes that generate results
■Master the art of interviewing
PRO-SEED is the opportunity for business professionals to ‘Think Ahead’ about their future and ‘Move Forward’ with their opportunities to develop relationships with peers, employers and resources to enhance their competitive advantage
